At EcowashCar, sustainability is more than just a buzzword; it is at the heart of everything we do. While our specialized waterless car wash saves millions of gallons of water in local communities, we go even further. Through our Fog Catcher Project in some of Latin America's driest regions, we actively harvest moisture from the air to provide fresh water to communities facing extreme drought. This is how we help build a cleaner, more sustainable future, one drop at a time.
On Chile's northern coast, in the community of Peñablanca (Ovalle, Coquimbo Region), residents are fighting water scarcity by building Fog Catchers.
This Chilean innovation, created by scientist Carlos Espinoza, harvests over 560,000 liters (148,000 gallons) of water each year, providing local communities with a reliable source of water for irrigation, livestock, and essential household needs.
Unfortunately, building and maintaining each Fog Catcher is both expensive and challenging. That's why EcowashCar has already donated its first Fog Catcher, and we've set an ambitious goal of building 40 by 2028. Every vehicle we wash helps bring us one step closer. Help us restore water to northern Chile, one car wash at a time.
